Giclee Canada was initially established in 2002 as a photographic reproduction studio.
Since 2005 Giclee Canada has been operating out of a commercial bay in the centrally located Manchester industrial area of Calgary.
Our professional services include:
- Image capture
- Archival giclees
- Custom fine art printing (Canvas, Enhanced Matte & Somerset Velvet)
- Post production (stretch framing, UV protection, matting)
- Print materials (giclees, matted images, art cards).
- Business development services, we are dedicated to enhancing our client’s sales and marketing efforts.
The Giclee Canada Team
Karl Buchner, President:
Mr. Buchner has been a serious amateur fine art photographer for the majority of his adult life. His primary work life over more than 40 years has been devoted to domestic and international technology, financial and infrastructure projects. In 2002 he founded Giclee Canada and has devoted his full efforts to the task of fine art reproduction.
John McCruden, Vice President, Business Development:
Prior to becoming a partner in Giclee Canada, Mr. McCruden spent over twenty years in numerous sales and marketing roles with two major Canadian banks. Mr. McCruden is responsible for business development tasks including direct sales, domestic / international marketing and client support.
